38 Convocation has been released by IGNOU in which students who passed in December 2023 and June 2024 can apply for their degree.

IGNOU GUIDELINES AND GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONVOCATION
The 38th Convocation of the University is likely to be held in February/March, 2025.
(Keep visiting the University website regularly for any information/updates in this regard).
Students who have completed their programme of study in the Term-end examinations of December 2023 and June 2024 are eligible for award of original certificates at this Convocation.
Students are required to attend the Convocation and collect the certificates from their Regional Centre where they reside and not from any other Regional Centre.
Students will be given the option to “attend the Convocation in person or receive the Degree/Diploma by post”.
All students are required to fill in their current address at which they wish to receive their Degree/Diploma/Certificate.
If for any reason the Convocation is not held at the Regional Centre of the student, he/she will have to attend the Convocation at another nearest Regional Centre, which may preferably be in the same State/adjacent State. Otherwise his/her Degree/Diploma/Certificate will be sent to his/her address by post. Information in this regard will be issued later.
If students are not invited to attend the Convocation or are unable to attend the Convocation even after depositing the requisite fee, their Degree/Diploma will be sent by post after the Convocation by the concerned Regional Centre including PG Certificate/Certificate Programmes. Students are therefore advised to contact their respective Regional Centre for Degree Certificate.

Eligible students have to register themselves for obtaining Degree/Diploma/Certificate and pay the requisite fee through online mode only as per details given below:
Ph.D./M.Phil./Master Degree/Bachelor Degree/PG Diploma/Diploma Programmes = Rs.600/-
PG Certificate/Certificate Programmes = Rs. 200/- (like PGCAP, PGCAE, CWHM, CRUL and etc.)
The requisite fee can be paid online through the following modes:
Debit/Credit Card of any bank (Master/Visa/Rupay).

PS: Students of MBA (students registered upto July, 2017 batch), MCA and M.Com etc. are required to pay registration fee @ Rs. 600/- per certificate. If students qualify for more than one module of the programme, they are required to collect all the certificates by paying Rs. 600/- per module.
