Sharvari, currently celebrating the success of her recently released film Munjya, is gearing up for an exciting new chapter with YRF’s spy thriller Alpha, where she stars alongside Alia Bhatt.
On July 30, Sharvari shared a photo on Instagram with director Shiva Rawail, expressing her excitement for the project. She wrote, “It doesn’t get bigger than this! Super stoked to start my #Alpha journey today! Trust me… I have manifested this moment, super prepped but can feel the butterflies in my tummy… Thank you Adi sir for your faith & @shivrawail for your belief in me! Letssss gooooo!!”

Sharvari also recently announced the title of the highly anticipated thriller spy film on Instagram. The reveal video features a voiceover by Alia Bhatt, introducing the film’s title: “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar aur hamare program ka motto: sabse pehle, sabse tez, sabse veer,” she says. “Dhyaan se dekho toh har shahar mein ek jungle hai, aur har jungle mein raaj karega ek Alpha.” (“The first letter of the Greek alphabet and our program’s motto: first, fastest, bravest. If you look closely, there’s a jungle in every city. And in the jungle, there will always rule… ALPHA.”)
Alpha will be the first female-led entry in YRF’s Spy Universe, with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari taking center stage as elite agents who will navigate danger and unravel secrets. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film promises high-octane action and suspense.
In addition to Alpha, Sharvari will also star in Nikkhil Advani’s Vedaa alongside John Abraham, set to release on August 15, 2024.
