What is SATHEE

SATHEE is an initiative by the Ministry of Education (Govt of India) and IIT Kanpur designed to provide students with the best and free learning materials for preparation of exams like Engineering (JEE), Medical (NEET), Law (CLAT), Agriculture (ICAR), University Entrance Test (CUET), as well as for competitive exams preparation like the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Railway (RRB), and Banking(IBPS)

The name of this new platform is SATHEE means Self Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exams. This is a new initiative by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with IIT Kanpur. The purpose of this new platform is to provide Indian students with an opportunity of a self-paced interactive learning and assessment platform for preparing for competitive and other examinations.

The SATHEE platform aims to bridge the gap in society for those students who cannot afford expensive entrance exam guidance and coaching.’ He said, ‘The aim of SATHEE is to enable students to learn concepts and focus on their weak topics. They were able to prepare for any exam by watching videos prepared by IIT and IISc faculty members.

It is a new initiative of the Ministry of Education to provide free learning and assessment platform for students.

This will help students to get free training and coaching for competitive exams.

It aims to bridge the gap in the society for those students who are not able to afford expensive entrance exam guidance and coaching.

This portal has been launched in four languages ​​Hindi, English, Odia and Telugu.

It will soon be made available in all the 13 languages ​​of the country in which JEE and NEET are being conducted.

It will also be useful for those candidates who are preparing for CAT, GATE, UPSC etc.
It will also provide or allow candidates to gain exposure to coaching centres.

This platform will have videos created by faculty members of IITs and IISc to help students prepare for competitive exams.

The videos will also help students learn concepts and revise topics they are weak in.

It uses an indigenously developed AI program called Proutor, which was developed by IIT-Kanpur.

Features of Saathi Portal:

Will provide preparation material for entrance exams including JEE and NEET.

For IIT preparation, students will get study material for subjects from class 9th to 12th on this online platform.

Lectures of students and professors of IIT Kanpur for JEE and AIIMS Delhi for NEET will be uploaded on the portal.

Will provide video solutions in regional languages ​​for entrance exams.

Will organize webinars for JEE and NEET entrance exam preparation.

Will also share stories of struggle and achievement of students.

National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET)

NEET (UG) is one of the toughest medical entrance exams conducted in India. NEET is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) every year for admission to undergraduate (MBBS/BDS/AYUSH courses).

According to the Government of India, passing the NEET exam is a mandatory requirement to study medical courses in India and abroad.

NEET, a single national level undergraduate medical entrance exam, is conducted every year for admission to 542 medical, 313 dental, 914 AYUSH and 47 BVSc and AH colleges in India.

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)

JEE Main and Advanced exams are conducted every year for bachelor degree courses in engineering like BE and B.Tech.

It is conducted by an agency called National Testing Agency i.e. NTA.

After passing the JEE exam, admission is available in engineering colleges like IIT, NIT, Triple IT and GFTI.
